Since I'm moving my tank tomorrow, I figured I would spray paint it black before I put it against the wall again. Is there any specific way I should spray paint it or do I just press the button and wait? Any specific brand(preferably at home depot)? How much spray paint do I need for a regular 55g glass tank?

Btw, is it safe to put a fish tank under a TV thats hung on the wall? Will the water evaporate and enter the tv :screwy:

Cheap ones I found on the home depot site:

2 cans should give a nice coat on a 55. That includes the both side panels and the back. I used that same can on my 55 while the fishes are in, with filters running, and never had any issues. You just simply press the button and move side to side. Make sure u don't miss any spots. It may seem like you reached everything from the back, but take a look at it from the front and you will see the blind spots that you left behind/did not coat enough. If possible, do this outside because the smell is very storng and spreads throughout the house. Learn from my mistake, i did it in the living room because i didnt wanna transport fishes, drain water, move tank, etc.

The only downfall is the smell

Why would you put your tv anywhere near a tank? I hate having my tanks in the same room as my tanks. I feel they deserve my full attention plus I don't like TV very much. But having electronics near water is a bad idea.
