Two month's ago i put 4 Trimacs that ranged from 2.5"-3.5" in a 55 gallon to try to get a spawning pair for my 125. Finally on Saturday i pair was formed between the largest 2 of the 4. The larger male of the pair starting beating on the other smaller 2 and today(Tuesday) i came home to find the worse, 1 of the smaller 2 is swimming at the very top of the tank with his back nearly 1/2" out of the water and in order to swim down he has to wobble in a very unordinary fashion. I seperated him into my medical 29gallon and after looking him over i could see his stomach is very bloated and is also pretty beaten up and the scales are badly shredded. I'm quite sure he's had his swim bladder busted by a heavy hit from the larger male. My question is should i put him down or is there a chance his blatter could heal?

Actually that is only 3 teaspoons per gallon, about a specific gravity of 1.004 which is very lightly brackish, most cichlids tolerate that for at least awhile.
