What fish for $200 ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think I would buy either a tig, motor, wide bar, a couple of atf, or invest the money until I had enough for a bumble bee grouper or australian lung fish.

Dont want to be offtopic, but aquaman are there any good LFS in the bham area? Im from there (well fultondale) and go back to visit all the time. I use to go to petsamerica off of valleydale road when I was younger but I didnt know squat then.

easy.
spend the $200 on getting about 100 baby red bellies.
grow them out to around 2-3'' sell them at $15-$20 each, rake in profits of $1500 considering costs of food/etc. then use the money to buy a 180+ gallon setup plus some aros/rays/dats/pbass.

Great to know there are other MFK members from AL. If your into saltwater there is Aquarium Designs and Sarris. Aquarium Imports and Ed's Pet World carry some cool freshwater on occasion, rarely will you find an oddball.

an xxl johanna and a motoro:D

Hahaha. PM Waldo, We can get it worked out.. Better work fast, I think Miguel packages fish tommorow.

If I had my choice, I would get the biggest school of clown loaches that $200 would buy, and grow them out.. Sell them all for $50/ea when they get bigger, and invest that into a breeding pair of leopoldis.. After breeding them for a few years and making a small fortune, I would buy a fish made of gold, and trade it for a house.

Ok I need to go to bed and quit drinking, bye.

$200 woudn't buy me much LOL
