All juvenile lepisosteus gars look very similar at that size and all have a fairly long nose that will change as the fish reaches a larger size. There are key ways to ID them at this size as some gars have distinctive coloration patterns that generally allow one to at least come close to an accurate ID. Season / Time of year is also a key indication of what species it could be.
The above fish is a Flordia gar, most likely, based on the above information.
Just to use an example on why the nose size alone is not an indicator of species at these small of sizes.
Mine is around 2 - 3 months old in that picture tho its much younger like maybe a month or so. I am thinking its a spotted gar its getting really big and fast and it is developing alot like a florida spotted gar. I will try to get a picture here tomorrow
