WTB: Gars in tri-state area... 10"+ ....>more

Looking for some gars in northern NJ. I would like to get a long nose gar mostly! Would also like to own a shortnose.... and/or a platinum or albino would be amazing. Cash on hand ready in anyone knows where or can come up with any of these gars.... preferably 12" but 10" would work.

i agree, cubans look great, how big do they grow though, think its pretty big

George sold his last 2 cuban gars about 2 months ago and I don't think he is bringing in any more or i would have them. the last 2 he had were like 18" at the time and my tgars were like 8-9". Didn't seem right but now my tgars are like 15"!!!

I have 3 now but thet are all the same size so that isn't a problem now but i have heard that too!

when George first imported them like years ago, I was among the first to buy one.. but backed out.

I don't think you'll find a shortnose gar... especially at the size that you want. they are almost never available in the pet trade.

if you have good petstores around, you should ask them if they can special order something for you.
