So you put a worm in my brain about pikes. If you're a total spazz about them maybe it's worth getting myself worked up.

Here's my tank:

125 with 2 cranky but tolerant sevs, an ornery g. altamira (mostly harmless ), a 6-7" ornate bichir and a wee JD/tex hybrid.

Can I risk juvie red pikes? They're like 2.5" at the LFS but I have no experience with pikes. No idea of temperment and tolerance in relation to what I have and whether or not they're a personable fish. And right now, they will give me a bonus %20 discount since they're moving to another location.

Sell to me.

the only prob would be the jd/tex mix but Johannas arent usualy that bad, especially that small. they will eat alot and grow fast, probably catching the bichir by yrs end if not sooner.
