New 30g, can't decide resident??

:headbang2 Hello All,

I just picked up a very nice 30 gal AGA tank / stand / heater / filter combo at a local garage sale for a steal ($50, was asking $150 for all)...................anyways I cant decide what to house in it. I already have a 30 g exodon paradoxis species tank, a 125 g mixed african tank........and a betta show tank...........so I was thinking just 1 single fish as a display animal........But can't decide what would be appropriate in a 30 g for a long time if not for the whole life of the fish.................suggestions would be greatly appreciated.............thanks.........***Matt***

Well maybe, even a pair of ????? possibly...............thanks gents!!!
 
I always liked the Nandus nandus as a single fish for a tank that size, A threadfin paradise fish would be great if you can find one and can afford the $300 that they cost, or a pair of leopard ctenopoma would be great, they don't get more than 6" and are usually smaller, aren't too hard to find and are not horribly expensive.

:thumbsup: Thanks for the responce guppy, I will definatley look into the nandus nandus some more....by the way is that the common name??
 
nevermind, just googled it and answered my own question.....leaffish......yes seem very cool, definate possibility....
 
If not a leaf fish, I would reccomend a pig nosed puffer. Awesome ambush predator. I'ts more commonly known as an arrowhead puffer.
