I believe that the viewing window is better..... but why go 180 when you could go 250? I'm excited about my 125 I'm getting.....but only cause the biggest I own is a 55.

all has to do with the space I'm given. I would like to do the 400 with a viewing side but wouldn't be able to do it with the space i'm given. It's about 81 inches long, and I don't have the $$$$$ for a sheet of glass thats 81 inches long, so 48 inches long will have to do.

I only wanted that extra space to get myersi and kraussi in there all at once
