Thread titles...Make it easy for the rest of us.

There are are lot of threads posted without a title that gives much information. Threads should have a title that gives enough information so that people can decide if the thread is interesting to them, or if they can be of help.

Bad examples:

"Help!"
"Why?"
"Sick fish!"
"What kind of food?"
"My lfs..."
"I shark ten gal ok is good?"

Good examples:

"Help me choose the right filter"
"Why does my aro eat all my other fish?"
"Pleco is sick, please help."
"What kind of food should I feed my Oscar?"
"My lfs gave me bad info!"
"Can I keep a Great White Shark in a ten gallon?"

Also, your spelling, grammar, and punctuation do say something about you and the type of people that post on this board. Acronymns are ok, misspelling tough words is ok, but take a little time to come close.

Just my thoughts.

some people do it, to get as many veiws as possible, and to generate interest around the "mystique" of the thread. your more likely to reply if you've already opened the thread
