Archers eating Crickets!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice, I have wanted some archers for a long time. I would train them to spit in my friends faces.

That is so cool. I was told archers lose that ability in the home aquarium.

VERY COOL!!! Can't wait to see the video!!!

Those are some great shots, you going to enter one in the monthly photo contest?
Crickets are great for picky eaters and for places that don't sell feeders for obligate carnivores. Easy to raise as well.

i had a school of them when i started fishkeeping years ago , LFS told me that they are breed in fresh water , but as days go by one by one died , brackish vivarium set -up is required for them to strive.

Actually, the bred in full strength salt in the wild. They swim out to the reef to spawn, then make their way back. There isn't a recorded time when they have successfully bred in captivity. A handful of places have seen spawning, but with nothing to connect one time to the next. Eggs tend to develop a fungus after about 9-10 hours.
