2 of my small dats are a dark green with 6 black bars any idea on them
T1 that is a awsome collection you have

from what you say and if you cant see anything that looks the same as your in my tank i would say the ones you have are silver tigers or indo as they are the only types i dont have as i find the incos are always black and the silver tigers are ment to be kept in brackish water

does any of u ray keeper afraid of getting stung by the rays...the sting is poisonous...kinda scary that ur pet attacks u..hahaha...WHEN RAYS GONE WILD!!!

yeh that was a NGT buy the rays their are 2 NGT in the tank the large one you saw and another small one thats not stable yet

all but the silver datnoid are yellow.

BUT, one locale of the indonesian tigers are usually darker with the "ugly" color.

New Guinea tigers can also vary, as some will display nice yellow between bars while others won't.

All the pics I see are Orange in color. The one at my lfs is yellow, like the smilies. They say it's rare, and want $249. I will try to get pics next time I go (yeah right).

I don't like that diagram.

Reason being, there are variants among these datnoids that may carry resemblance to two different species.

Maybe we should do a more comprehensive species chart.
