"the purpose of language is communication, not obfuscation"

whats the big deal? most people will type decently, and some just prefer to apply their own spin. experts at forensic linguistics most definitely can determine "your" personal emails from those of others.

smilies on the other hand remind me of those childrens books where you press the button to hear the sound. gongggg

Most of the time it is laziness, not personal spin.

I flat-out ignore everything I can't be arsed to read. If it's oddly written (I follow the rules of ENGLISH. I can't even bring myself to shortcut to text message). If it's long, it had better be broken down into paragraphs at least.

But I do not weep for the thousands of ones who get no replies to "wut do i do?" For one, SPELL CORRECTLY! Or at least close! *pant pant* I'm sorry I'm so evil.

"I gots a noo fishy tuday, iz it a goaldfish?"

Shoot=self

It bothers me too. If I have problems understanding a post, I will check the location of the person to see if English is the primary language. Sadly, most of the time it's in the U.S. So if they can't be bothered to make an intelligible post, I can't be bothered to help them. It also makes me angry when people make a post like "I want a _fish_, tell me everything about it". Can't these people use Google?:confused:

and on a side note but of similar topic:
SEARCH...
thats what its there for...
Saving everyone time and effort, probabbly getting quicker answers...
How many times do you really have to answer the same question asked by 20 different people? when a simple click on search button would bring up the answers?
IMO :naughty:
