I really wish the thread titles would improve. I ignore at least half of them.

You know if you hover your mouse pointer over the title a good portion of the actual post will magically appear in a test box for a few seconds so you can get an idea of what it is about without opening it. I'm just saying that there are things you can do if the ambiguous titles are a little to much stress for your delicate personality.

There are are lot of threads posted without a title that gives much information. Threads should have a title that gives enough information so that people can decide if the thread is interesting to them, or if they can be of help.

Bad examples:

"Help!"
"Why?"
"Sick fish!"
"What kind of food?"
"My lfs..."
"I shark ten gal ok is good?"

Good examples:

"Help me choose the right filter"
"Why does my aro eat all my other fish?"
"Pleco is sick, please help."
"What kind of food should I feed my Oscar?"
"My lfs gave me bad info!"
"Can I keep a Great White Shark in a ten gallon?"

Also, your spelling, grammar, and punctuation do say something about you and the type of people that post on this board. Acronymns are ok, misspelling tough words is ok, but take a little time to come close.

Just my thoughts.

How about a thread titled "MOUSE! "

Which category does this fall under?
;)

I can understand about the thread titles and punctuation to a point. But I hate it when people correct my spelling. First of all I can't even find the spell checker on this forum. Is it even there? I just looked again and didn't see it.
