I like that algea I think it looks good.

My African tank has sun shining through the side for almost one year now and guess what ? no algea ?

I even tried to grow some on the windowsill with water in a bottle still no damn algea .

What gives ?

I actually liked the when the whole back was completly algea covered until my sister decided to clean some of it off now it just looks dirty. I kinda like the algea look too as long as it isnt growing on everything.

If you look at the fins (mainly the dorsal fin) of most of fish from the family Centrarchidae they have that same dorsal fin.

I forgot to ask if they have the ear-flaps. If they do have them I'm positive it's a bluegill because they're from the Genus Lepomis and all of those fish have ear-flaps.
