Dang, that sux ...

I guess its try, try again... did you take the water from the mama-tank for the nursery tank? I always do & have great success..

also what did you do for fry feed ??

i used new water for the fry.. i fed them crushed pellets and some crushed flakes.. but the thing is everyday i wake up and check on them some die and die and die.. my other molly is pregnant again any tips on how to keep them alive?? its really hard.....

I use transplant water from the adult tank & have the tanks up in advance; when I water change the main tank, then I use that water to 1/2 partial on the nursery.

That helps keep the water similar.

flake is my choice of food but I have done pelets as well (but not in the first week)

yea i guess il try again.. dunno when the next batch is popping out though but i sure hope i can make them live...

How much salt do you have in the fry tank? if only 1-2 table spoons per 5 gallons water you can toss a couple handfuls of elodea in the tank, it always seems to help for me.
Also, how did you remove the fry? usig a siphon or even a plastic baggie is safer than netting.
This is a pretty good article on them, http://www.fishforever.co.uk/livebearers.html

i used a plastic cup to move them and i put 1 tablespoon of salt for the fry tank which is 2.5gals i dont net the fry coz i know it would kill them instantly.

i hope i get a healthy 2nd batch.
