strict punishment doesn't need to be physical pain. you can teach kids to be disciplined without hitting them. abuse is not something we should tolerate.

yea we used to have the cane or rulers and whatever over here. punching a girl in the head is a bit difference. i cant see how it would be beneficial showing kids violence is a good thing and a means of getting your own way
