green terror question for GT owners!

how big can i expect a GT to get ? suposing its a male. what do they max out at in home aquariums ?

info on the net all varies...so id like to hear from any one who has kept/has some !

i think they get around 8 to 10 inches, but there are always exceptions...good luck

I agree. I have a female that is almost a year old and she is about 5-6" and males tend to get a little bigger.

Gt's can get between 6-8 inches within a year. They slow down a bit after that. Some will get up to 10". And, on more rare occasions they can get up to 12".

I have had a few the norm is 8-10" There are some variations of this cichlid. There is one variation that has white edging to their tails and unpaired fins. The other variation will have orange or red edging.They grow the same size 8-10" But there is still another type of green terror the dwarf green terror they only reach an adult length of 5 inches.
