na it won't be like that.......if i see the RTC goin on huge grow spurts and the aro isn't catchin up i'll seperate em i wont let that happen.............they are cool though we can hand feed both of em ..........too bad they only eat guppies so far.............
 
You should be able to get the aro on pellets right away, all of the aros I have kept have taken to hikari cichlid gold in the first day. It also keeps their red color for a real long time.

i figured hikari would work.......i only have carnivore pellets from some crappy brand my cichlids don't even eat em........i plan on getting hikari tommorow though...........
 
congrats on some awesome fish. im 15 and i have fish and snakes. When im 16 im getting a job at a pet store and getting my license so i will bring home stuff like every week lol

yea i turn 16 next month and that's when i start at my lfs so i pretty siked about getting 15% off everything in the store:headbang2 ...............

That sounds sweet! Since were all talking about how young we are lol im 17. I need to get a job at my lfs but i think the closest one is family owned... Ive had a silver aro and an rtc in the same tank and they seemed to do fine together. The rtc definately grows faster than the aro, so watch it and make sure it doesnt get too big while its in the same tank!
