29gal wall tank fish suggestions

I would go for a low-tech planted tank. just add two 20-watt flourescent as lighting.
for plants: anubias, cryptocorynes, Amazon plants

for fish: tetras, SAE's, cory's, bristlenose pleco, and some shrimps.

Hiya Joeytoe, you could go salt and do a single fish in a FOWLR. maybe a two spot or zebra lion fish. Or a FW tank containing plants, 6 small cories, a couple of the smaller fancy plecos and a pair of blue spotted sunfish or a pair of some smaller cichlid like the lowlands cichlid (H. carpintis), or maybe a whimple's piranha.

I agree on the planted tank and Rams.

Also, when did they change from Microgeophagus to Papilochromis?

Thats what I got when I was looking at fish on Liveaquaria.com , they could have it wrong who knows.

I pondered a SW tank years ago when my 55gal was empty, but decided against as I couldnt aford all the stuff. Some day Ill do SW maybe with my 120Gal W when I get a bigger tank.

Heres how it looks so far. I plan to add like 5-8 plants, an bout 10lbs more gravel.
