Jardini are also known as pearl aro.

Some can be green in color, but its not a lot...

yep, exactly. my jardini was sold as a Pearl Arowana from Australia at the LFS where i got it. while the leichardti is sometimes sold as Spotted Australian Arowana. anyone encountered anything like this?

Yep...

Or spotted barramundi.

I've only ever heard the term Spotted Barramundi referring to jardinis in one old text.
Never heard of jardinis being called Pearl arowana either.

Over here in Aust. the two aussie aros are referred to as either jardini saratoga or leichardti saratoga.

spotted coz leichardti's have on average of 3 orange spots on the scales, and a lot more on the fins. with the market on arowana focused on selling color varieties as with other tropical fish species, sometimes saying "spotted" arowana rather than just leichardti brings in more sales
