I am starting an african tank and I love arowanas. Does anyone know any store or person selling african aro's? I know they're the least sought after and the ugliest but I would like to keep this 125 I'm starting up strictly african.

Aren't they filter feeders? Ive heard there HARD to raise , but its only what ive heard, Ive never kept them!
from what ive read/heard once they get a good size they are hardy but when small they are hard to keep alive

Vince has big ones for sale pm him
this is the only place i know where to get them right know where to get them. his are like 18" and up.

I would get one that vince has, his are good looking and they are on pellets. They are filter feeders when younger but as they get bigger they can eat differen't food, they just have small mouths.

I was hoping to find one around the size of 8-12"... Was looking at spending $250 though... : /

Well now you have a chance to get a bigger one for what you expected to pay, and you have 4 to choose from.
