A few of my current octopus.

The filteration on my set up is massive, and updates are planned. he is only about 3 1/2in
long so if i were to put him in a 55g I would never see him. 30lbs of live rock, 10 lbs of live sand and a large canister filter are in my tank. no corals just a lot of coraline algea. I use RO water and use high quality salt. about 1watt per gallon. a nice dawn dusk type thing. My octopsu is in a very good home and is fed only the best live crabs shrimp and snails

I have been wanting to keep one of these guys for a while but i'm having a hard time deciding if $50 bucks is worth spending on something that will die preaty quick. How often do you do water changes on your tank?

Wow, Very Cool. If I ever did a "True Marine Tank", I would make it so I could house one of these Monsters.
 
what are you feeding it?? i am looking into getting one and have read most of the articles on tonmo.com and am looking into the forums....

mysid shrimp (when they are very small 2 1/2in)

small clams (when they are stil prtetty small 3-6in)

fiddler crabs (small to medium)

shore shrimp (when small 3-6in)

shore crabs (small to big)

hermit crabs (small to big)

turbo snails (medium)

shore snails (small to medium)
