I had a 6 inch tiger muskie years ago. I kept it in a 55. He got a parasite and took a couple months to get him over that. I though he was well on his way and I did a really stupid thing and dumped about 4 dozen feeders in the tank at once and the bio load killed him.(over night) I was young and stupid and didn't know any better and I feel bad. He was nearly a foot when he died. I'm not sure what I would have done with him if he'd have lived, I probably would have had to give him to one of my buddies with a 125.

I know tigers are hybrids, they cant spawn so they are favored over regular muskie and pike here because their population can be controlled easier. Thats a sweet setup w/ the grass pickeral, cant wait to see pics of the tiger! I plan on feeding mine minnows I catch from local creeks and ponds, so I shouldnt have to worry about parsites.

Fisher i would rethink the whole muskie idea. A buddy of mine got a musky and had it in a 125. It was so cool he had it when it was about 4'' long and was the coolest fish. The fish grew like a weed and by the time he was a little over two feet in his pond he was eating non stop i have no idea how much it cost him but it was a lot. He eventually found a guy stocking his private lake with fish and asked him if he wanted it and the guy took it. I have no idea what your planning just be aware they are eating machines.

ill just release them in the local reservoir when they get too big and plus i have a pond as well

Bassman i have read some of your quotes since i read this one do you know anything about aquariums and fish or do you just use answers that come from someone who actually knows this stuff? Stop mimicing and trying to backtrack on retarded comments

hey i have an idea! just get some northern pikeminnows instead! they dont get nearly as big! haha actually i wouldnt do that, those fish are nuisances! and they're nasty! but wow that grass pickerel makes me want to go coldwater!
