Tiger Muskie/ muskie

Fisher i would rethink the whole muskie idea. A buddy of mine got a musky and had it in a 125. It was so cool he had it when it was about 4'' long and was the coolest fish. The fish grew like a weed and by the time he was a little over two feet in his pond he was eating non stop i have no idea how much it cost him but it was a lot. He eventually found a guy stocking his private lake with fish and asked him if he wanted it and the guy took it. I have no idea what your planning just be aware they are eating machines.
I know muskie get big and fast, but I have an unlimited supply of fathead minnows, crayfish, and sunfish to use as food.

Bassman i have read some of your quotes since i read this one do you know anything about aquariums and fish or do you just use answers that come from someone who actually knows this stuff? Stop mimicing and trying to backtrack on retarded comments

.....i am new to aquariums and fishkeeping and im starting to get into it more and more (basically the whole reason of me joining this website) and almost all of my posts are from my own knowlede thank you very much

Well then as long as you got it figured out then good luck... Just careful in the winter maybe get a breeder tank and start it now so you have plenty when it gets cold.

Hey Fisher, i thought you might want to hear about this. My friend who had the muskie in is pond had a duck nest nearby and when the chicks were old enough they went out onto the pond and apparently, according to him his muskie took out all three of the chicks in two days. Just thought it was good story.

Ive heard several stories of that happening lol. Ive even heard of big muskies taking baby muskrats! The muskie would be going into my pond once it outgrows my tank, and I dont think Ill need to feed it during the winter.
