Maybe its just me, but everytime i use melafix on borderline rays, they alway hop
on over to the "R.I.P" side. :)

I would stick to the water changes and salt then.
 
Thats what i do. But to some people Melafix works.. I dont have concrete evidence for my
preference just stories...


Better safe then sorry. You both would really be upset if he lost that leo, and I would be too.

Melafix is harmful at full dose to Elephant nose, electric fish and turn off any protien skimmers during use. Tetras, discus and even c. loaches are not harmed by it. Plants and salwater invertebrates are also safe. (REMOVE CHARCOAL). It smells medicinal but my fish absolutely love it. Good Luck, please post the healing process and what you did use to fix it. I think you just solved the problem I had with my las 3 royal clown knives!!!!! damn it they had cloud eye and I was dosing this stuff and then they acted like they were having seizures an died shortly after..I suspected this was the reason and thats why I hate this S*$%!!!! DAMN IT:wall:
