You do see in pic 3 of the stream there are fish in there :WHOA: and there isent much water looks like none at all how are they alive!

hey timpon. i have to say your pond is the best i've seen! definitely a dream of mine to have one like that.

if you dont mind sharing your secret, what cement sealer did you use? was it drylock? i need to upgrade my 350 gallon and tripling the size perhaps. i was thinking of going cement. how thick are the walls of your pond and is it uniform around the main pond? looks a little less than a foot thick to me.

thanks for the help,

vil

I'll see if I can get the name for you. I didn't do the pond myself. The sealer was a clear liquid that came in a 5 gallon metal drum. The pond maker sprayed it on using an air compressor.

The cement is uniform around the pond. It's less than a foot thick, but reinforced with those steel grids. There is a pond liner underneath the cement as insurance against leaks.

Thanks for the compliments.:)

Work is in progress to create a Japanese/Chinese style mountain range along the back fence with a water fall and another pond at the base. The pond will be smaller than the present one, but the mountain/rocks will be alot bigger.

sounds like its gonna be another masterpiece. man, i'll probably hire someone to cement my pond. i dont know if i can work w/ all that rebar and cement. thanks a bunch.

vil.
