Tonight was sushi nite at the camp...
All my tank partners were great during water change and general cleaning,
so I treated them to Zennz'z Sushi...
To start they had shrimp roll algae waffer, the Plecos love prawn...I never knew that.
Then we served a Krill dusted prawn steak, for the omniviours it was strawberry slices and pellet rolled in shrimp.
They also enjoyed the strawberry and prawns with a floater of Hikari sticks...
Of course the spoiled one had to have his prawn chopstick fed, and he wanted to do laps around it first...
All in all it was a good thing, no traffic to fight no parking problems...
I also wanted to show off the cool cuttingboard / anti_jump-out piece I fabricated today.
It is made from nylon .50" thick, better than the flimsy .25" plexi I had at first.
I Used a router to cut to size, a holesaw for the openings that my plumbing goes through.
I again used the router to form a lip that the glass pannel can slide under. This ought to keep the jumpers in check. Used the round over bit, on all edges to keep things safe inside the tank as well as out...
And it gives me a great place to make the fishy kids their meals, and cleaning is a snap.
The mini fridge right next to the tank for Mt. Dew and fish food is pretty dam convienent too... Enjoy ~Z
