thanks, what do you feed yours? i was thinking about trying some hikari sinking carnivore pellets when i get mine.

I've had him for about a week.......I have yet to see him eat anything......I feed a lot of different stuff too. Cichlid staple, colorbits ganules, bloodworms, krill, shrimp pellets....I don't know what his deal is.

ive read they dont have to be in groups but are alot more active if they are. thats why im getting three. not for a cleanup crew just because i love catfish they are my favorite fish other than cichlids.

Do those have to be kept in groups? I like their mustash and they are super active.
they do best in a group of 3 or more

Pictus are crazy when it comes to feeding, well its true when it comes to different fish having dfferent personalities but i have 2 5inch fourlined pictus and its like a shark feeding frenzy when i feed them, whatever i feed them

i have 4 in a 4x2x2 all they do is fight only with each other (no harm comes of it) and eat, what do they eat, mine will eat all frozen foods, squid, prawns, muscles, cat pellets, sinking cic pellets, flake, plec wafers, 50/50 they will have floating pellers from the top, salmon, mill worms, earth worms and they do like a bit of ham (as in the stuff you put in your bread:eek: )
