i just don't care for the black, it makes it more difficult to take pictures of the fish, especially dark colored fish like my BGK.. i like browns and earth tones. driftwood, river rocks.. etc. i love real plants, but i'm every live plant's worst enemy, i kill em all. so i go for the nearly real looking silk artificial plants.

Guess my new sump will qualify, it came today. It was very dark, but had to take a picture anyway.

I have black backgrounds but have been wanting to do a tan, green or brown one. I LOVE silk plants. Good to know I'm not alone.
