I have black backgrounds but have been wanting to do a tan, green or brown one. I LOVE silk plants. Good to know I'm not alone.

i like real plants, but i can't keep em alive.. and plastic plants are dangerous. so my choices are silk plants or silk plants and they look nearly real.

Awesome tanks everybody. Im very jealous.

My 300 gallon south american and clown knife tank. It was an old lobster tank from a supermarket and I only payed $120 for it. It is pretty overstocked right now but that is because I dont have enough heaters to heat my 700 gallon stock tank which they used to be in. Both the 300 and 700 are in the garage. Also note that all the fish with the exception of my marble sailfin catfish and green severum have either been rescued or given to me from friends. I have plans to build a 3600 gallon indoor pond for all those fish in my garage during the winter and get rid of all but the 300 in the garage. The pictures are terrible as I took them off my phone. Stock includes...

7 pacus from 12" to 18"
10" redtail catfish
12" TSN
18"TSN x RTC Hybrid
3 oscars from 8" to 12"
2 clown knifes 18" and 22"
18" peruna catfish
8" green severum
12" common pleco
and my favorite, my 25" ripsaw catfish.

come on guys i dont think everyone has posted their 200 gallon + tanks yet have they, here are some pics of my 210 iv just set up my 225 opposite and changed things around a little so il have to get some more updated pics for you guys but here are some recent ones anyway. the last pic is the new 225 that iv moved 2 oscars and a 10 inch dat over to

Wow 800 thats a real beast what are the dimensions and when are you looking to get it set up ? what you planning on putting in there?

I do not have recent pics, so I will look through my photobucket to show my 230 and my 300. I also have an empty 10ft 300 that cracked on the bottom due to uneven stand.

I forget exactly, but something like 5 1/2 feet long x 36 inches wide x37 inches tall, lol
