Hello all. I recently designed and built a kick ass Aquirium/TV stand. I built it with a man named Dave. So named it the D.A.V.E the Deluxe Aquirum Viewing Epitaph. Here a a few pics. There are a few pics of it being built as well. Took nearly 200 hours. Very solid woodworking. I have a Tiger Oscar, Convict, Bumblebe, Acei, and my fav. by far is my Male JD. Anyways, I just recently got the JD and he doesn't follow the pattern of the other fish and does not come to the top for the cichlid pellets. Do you think this is because he is still scared? I have had him for 3 days now. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Nice stand. Let the JD settle in. He will be a lot more comfortable once the oscar eats the bumble bee and the acei. LOL

Thats awesome. I had all these ideas for the perfect 65 gallon stand I'm gonna build but now you're giving me second thoughts of making it a TV stand too haha

This must be a man thing...
Don't get me wrong the workmanship is beautiful.. but the tank is on the floor practically and that TV didn't need a stand... it defeats the purpose of having a beautiful tank and stand imo.. but they all look great individually ..tank, stand and tv...

I think the woodworking is fantastic.
But Fishmamma, your right in that the TV doesn't need a stand but the PVR and Blu-ray player do. LOL
I can understand putting the tank below the TV but I probably wouldn't turn on the TV. Plus my dog Gabby would probably lay down in front of it to protect them.

But really nice work Gregor405.
