just out of curiosity are there any fish in there? if so what kind? i want to start fishing and this seems to be the closest water way to me, also how do i go about getting my fishing license?

I have caught Mozambique Tilapia (practically every cast), Common Carp (tons of babies, there are some monsters that swik around with their dorsal fins out of the water but they won't bite.), and Common Plecos there. I have also seen Brown Bullhead, Oscars, and Pacu in peoples' buckets.

Anyone who watches the Marketplace on here knows that SoCal is full of LFS's and FK'ers and Balboa Lake is where most of those fish that were supposed to be able to live their lives in a 29G or not be a tankbuster/aggressive/eat their tankmates/get huge etc. get dumped.

So I finally went fishing at Balboa and we mostly caught tilapia and one or two carp my cousin caught a foot long pleco today I'll have some pics later
