BTW, the price is already a giveaway. Platinums can fetch for like $300+.
Unless you are in countries like philippines where you can get them cheap if you know your buyer.

well, i was hoping i would get lucky. The guy i bought it from didn't know much about fish and he wanted to keep this bichir at first, but i said i'd add $30 to the total for it, so i was really hoping it was more than just a normal bichir.

haha over in australia a fish shop wants $550 for a albino and $450 for a regular brown senegal

my LFS sells them for 9.99 for 5 inchers pretty good deal if you ask me

i haven't seen platinum sens here in the Philippine's for about 2 years, what they sell are albino's very cheap for about $3-4.

They use to be very plenty about 6 years ago, you can get them at ordinary petshops, but now they are no where to be found, even at our exotic importers specializing on bichirs dont have them.

im actually thinking of selling them, for the right price both 10 inch female and male.
