Not sure if you could consider it as a refugium, as i have noting besides BB's live in their.

probably if i added some shrimps/snails to help in the filtration in one of the compartments.

i actually wanted to setup a refugium compartment when i first setup the tank, but the shrimps died and never tried again, the cabinet is closed so the air can get a bit humid inside.

im using it a grow-out partition, the contents are 6-9 inch dels and endli's they will get eaten or get hurt if i place them with the big guys.
