ok, how big of a tank for a male?

I have mines in a 20g long with a plastic topperware shelf as the water area.

I have a female that I keep in a 30 gallon rubbermaid tub.

I got a Male that I keep in a Rubbermaid tub...don't remember the size. I just keep a water dish for him in the summer and when winter rolls in, I use coconut fiber from him to bury himself for hibernation.
