keeping a jar with any other fish could be a PITA since they're so aggressive if I were you I would go with a silver or black aro or if you can afford/find one a blue/black aro 
Tankmates to go along with rays and aros?

Oh i can buy one ^ but the thing is i picked Jar cause of his color, he isn't really brown but more like a gold and sometimes when he is really calm white. I will keep them together cause the aro just chases him once in a while but doesn't bite if he is able to catch my ray he just gives him a nudge. Weird, my pacu used to do that to my oscar all the time.
So i grab the tank and hope i am not screwed by the demensions and the sump right? I originally thought of a sump but when i went to a hardwear store i was looking for a pump that pumps water 24 hours a day and i found all these expensive ones for like 70 -170 dollars. I said i wasn't going to buy that so i just bought 2 filters, anyone suggeset a good easy cheap pump for me? Other than the pump i have everything else, sponge, fiber balls, some charcoal, and the tubing and container with holes already drilled.
a lot of people say good things about hammerhead, reeflo & other pumps. i use a sedra pump its a korean brand and its strong and quiet.
i paid 130 for my pump i believe its the sedra 20000p pump rated for 2000 gph @ 22' not to sure though but works good
+1 I payed like 150$ for the two pumps for my 125g. 170$ is a quite realistic price for a single pump to properly filtrate a 220g tank. I read you're looking for a small tank mate for a ray and jardini and then see you're thinking about a datnoid or rtc?! That's not exactly a "small" tankmate... I agree w/ the others when they say they wouldn't add anything else to a 100g.
i don't really want to pay a 100 + for a pump. How do you guys think about a powerhead that is about 50 gallons, i got 2 of them so about 100 gallon, then i use the hanging filters. Is that good? And yes Murffy i am getting the 320. I actually got it, but the tank has been sitting in the garage for a while so i am letting it cycle for a little bit.
