I have one too. I bet sooner or later it will become a massive eating machine. I would be afraid to clean the tank if I were you.

No... These guys are Gentle giants. If a fish stalks you through the tank then I would not dare place my hand in the tank... I used to put my hands in the tank all the time with my 16"+ VATF

I think the secret is having him with other fish.
From day one he was schooling with the barbs and eating what they were eating. I think it helped that they were once the same size/shape he was. One day my bro threw in a massivore for the flagtail and he gulped it up....since then he's been hooked.
I do wish it was this easy for all fish unfortunately that's not the case.
