J you never stop amazing people with your fish and which fish gets killed in your collection bro! no pic of shamu flopping on the ground?
I didn't have a camera with me by the time, or a pix of Shamu swimming with half the VATF stick out its mouth will be POTM for sure  Everything happened in split seconds. I was going to do water change, didn't expect to ride with Shamu! :grinno:

I wouldn't think that you would understand as you buy prices not fish.
That's the 2nd huge VATF n lord knows how many GATF/Armatus/Tat/etc... You have killed and it's my fault? Glad your words speak better than actions.

You lost your sense of humor. Technically, I didn't killed the VATF, nor the barramundi killed it. It died, because it gets weak from the incident. The barramundi was up side down, too, when I put it back in the tank, but it's ok after I right itself up and still lives on. I buy fish, unfortunately, there's a price come with it, or it wouldn't be "buy" so I have no clue on how you think I buy "price" not "fish?" :screwy: What I don't understand is if you love it so much why would you let it go, or why wouldn't you buy it back when its tank busted? BTW, if you think getting punished for cursing in a tournament is pussification, what's crying when a fish die? Love?

That pix was taken a year before you were here. :D I don't know how heavy it is, but when I saw it had the VATF half way down its throat, I grabbed a net and tried to make it let the VATF go. It did a sommersault and leap out of the tank, landed on the floor, spat the VATF 8ft from where it landed. I didn't know how could I manage to put it back in the tank? :screwy: Adrenaline was running off the roof! :nilly: It was quite a day!!

You always do that after you sold your prize fish. First the GATF, then the Armatus, then the VATF. What's next? Actually, you should buy it back when its new home sprung a leak. It's your fault!

The tear was out of frustration... I know how I cared for that fish and how hard the decision was to let him go as I could not house him anymore (I'm sure I posted that on this thread). You'll know the feeling when a prize fish you raised checks out on you... Not one you purchased at an adult size.

As for pussification, don't even knock on that door bro

Why's the frustration? You sold it off, and and I wasn't the buyer. What did you expect when its tank busted? Why didn't you come to rescue it? I don't see how you couldn't house a 16" fish in a 96x30 tank anymore, but I'll take your word. Quick question, did you transport the fish to his new home, acclimate it into his new tank, since you care for it so much? Or did you wash your hand off once it left your house? As for my feeling about fish, it's all the same, because they're all fish, whether I've kept them for 10 years, or 10 seconds. I care for them the same whether I spent $25K, or get it for free. The only thing that separate them is size. Big fish in big tank. Small fish in small tank. I hope you have Costco membership, because you're going to need a lot of Kleenex, when I feed it to the barramundi next Friday
