Welll adults is the only time i have seen it done. Basically because they are both large enough and experienced enough to know its not a worthwhile battle. If they were the same size it may work. Not sure if the snakehead grows as quick or as large as the silver unless its the giant snakehead.
Theres a member here from edmonton who has had snakeheads and asian aros together. He would know how it really is, and how to do it. I think his name is dragonfish01, or something like that. His setup r pretty bada@@

I repectfully disagree! Its a combo of both for me. The hobby is not fun if your fish r dying
It is funny because after it is all said and done they are fish, and fish eat fish.
I had a dwarf rainbow snakehead mow down a larger baby aro, and what was funny about this is I moved the aro because it was being what an aro is in the other tank. Did not think it would be small enough but apparently snakeheads can eat fish bigger than themselves.
i dont think if one person has a combo going for him the other person will have the same success..
Makes it possible. It could be done. Doesnt mean he wont have the same success if done the same way.......
Yes i have seen that video too..he is feeding them in the video..but did u notice that aro was a full grown one..there are general rules for combinations..no one i saying that its not possible..generally it doesn't work..thats what we are trying to tell you.. every combination is worth a try but the bottom line is that you should be able to react and make the necessary changes when it goes bad. in your case you let the jar just get beaten up until it was eaten finally. thats where the problem is. I for example have gars and aros together..the general rule says gars and aros are a no no..but i have them together and they do fine.
