A question about volume weight and floors

In the water
I found a really nice deal on a very large fish tank I didnt buy it yet. I was wondering if a basement type room would be a good spot for such a big tank. I can post some pics of the room itself if needed. My main concern floor buckling under the weight of tank.

what is BIG to you? If it is big enough for you to wonder about basement placement then yes, good idea to not put on a second level, etc.
 
A buddy of mine said that a floor without defects can hold a full size car without no problems. He builds homes.
 
Not all basement floors are concrete.

For Example: Not all water is wet (ice) but when talking about mopping floors it's safe to assume we are talking about using water in the liquid form...........

I think the OP is talking about his "concrete" basement floor or he would of said my "dirt" floor :screwy:
