I got one of the FH he kept the other. The one I have I want to say is about 5" and is a year old, I posted pics of him in a new thread. The guy I got them from said he got both as a fry last year and the one he kept was twice the size. I am hopping with my twice a day feeding he will pick up.

5" at one year old.. Stunted flowerhorn.

So pretty much no hope for him to get of any real size? I guess I can't complain he was free and has good color.

I wouldn't count him out yet. Pristine water quality & diet will go along ways towards his growth over the next 12 months.
He just might surprise you.
