i have one growing out now. i have had one in the past that had more of the tsn traites showing and this one i have now is showing mostly rtc traits so i was wondering if anyone here has seen the adult hybrids have the red tail of the rtc?

its tail is the brown of a young rtc that hasn't turned red yet(since it is only 5") so i am hoping it will cause it is a beautyful hybrid even without the red tail.
 
My old hybrid had a lot of RTC in him. He had a big spotted reddish tail. It wasnt as red as a full RTC, but between the pattern and color, it was my favorite.

This pic doesn't show the color completely, but you get an ideas as you can see my TSN's tail in the back. (Sorry he's kind of hidden behind the giraffe cat, but getting a pic of his tail was hard as he was always at face at the glass begging).

They usually have brown tails but this picture I found on google seems to have a shade of red. Hope yours turns out well, post up pics, would like to see your baby monster.

was your hybrid brown-backed before it got large then changed to the tsn style grey?

i couldn't stand not haveing any big cats anymore, after i sold my 3 tsns a while back(idk if you remember them or not) my tanks looked to empty. so i got another tsn after bouncing around with a jurnese and a lima that my gar killed both of, i just went with a wild tsn and this hybrid. i instantly fell in love with this hybrid the moment i saw it. i'll try to get some pics up and maybe a vid.

i have seen that cat before, but thanx for the pic. all i have seen were the brown tails, but most of the hybrids are stronger on the tsn characterisics as opposed to the rtc's.

you should already see the traits in it at any size. unless you have not got it yet then i hope you get one like that aswell.

i actually thought i got a pure rtc when it was in the bag at the store. after some closer inspection i saw it was infact a hybrid. it was pale blue with white sides like a stressed 2" rtc is. infact it even has the purple/blue on top of the head like some rtcs get. it olny displays this when it gets excited.
