Bloodworms, feeders, pellets, earthworms, etc....they eat just about anything, lol.

Worms, Feeders, maybe a Superworm here or there. Try Pellet Training.

the mbu or the knife? the mbu will almost certainly eat the knife.

you're probably thinking of the very similar tiger knife. i never seen aggression from the carapo i had in a community tank but they will beat up on each other.
