I have 2 stingrays would like to donate? To a larger aquarium ? they are in a 300 gallon....
:nilly:someone that knows how to take care of them?..Had them for 2+ years...Any suggestions on how to do this the right way? Live in Calif....Want them to have a better home....
(can not give them back to LOCAL STORE).....Thanks:popcorn:

... aren't they illegal in California? Isn't that y u can't return them back to the store? That is bad, nobody would won't to take them. Well people would but it is a pretty big risk in my opinion.

As they grow up, they need to be acclimated to a marine tank. You'll need to find someone with the ability to do that.
Do you have the ability to ship them? I know of a few places if you can box them up with oxygen.

the facepalm was directed at i_got_no_idea for telling off the OP on having an illegal animal, when dasyatis sabina is not a restricted animal in california because it is not a potamotrygon.

please understand the difference between true freshwater and brackish/marine stingrays before posting something that is not true.
