Did you check with Cichluvr? $22.50 a pop vs. $8 seems a bit steep, even though they're an inch or two larger. But then I'm cheap.

I just talked to Ira about getting a group of snooks. I really appreciated the time he took on the phone with me, seems like a top notch vendor for sure. Before talking with him I didn't know that snook were schooling cichlids, that's awesome. I'm just waiting on his PM for shipping prices and I'm going to paypal him back. Man I'm excited!!

My Grammodes and pair of GT's will be rehomed later today and my snook shoal will be here tomorrow. Keeping the Bocourti and Ornatum...for now. Might have to set up my spare 135g again, man my wife is going to be PO'd if I do that lol.
You'll have a nice variety of size, color, and temperament with your various setups. The Snooks will love a tank of their own. Enjoy keeping them. Every time I breakdown a tank I always end up setting it back up for something else. My wife isn't happy about it either.
My snooks arrived! Too bad I'm at work for four and a half more hours grrrr. My 11 year old daughter gets to do the honors of opening the box and acclimating the fish. She's loving it though. She's going to text me a pic as soon as they come out of the bags.
Sweet! New fish and a daughter in fishkeeping training, what else can you ask for? I have an 11-year old daughter but she is not as enthusiastic about fish as I am. She's more into Ipods, phones, and Facebook. My 6-year old son looks like he will follow in dad's footsteps. Anyway, I look forward to the pics.
