Best way to transfer my peacock bass?

I think these little guys are going in my 125 today! The water is 84 and the levels are perfect.

My question is, how can I move them from my 20 to the 125 with the least amount of stress?

Should I take water out of the 20 and fill it back up with water from the 125? Do this a few times over the course of an hour?

Or should I fill up a bucket with the 20 gallon's water, net them, put them in the bucket, and drip the 125's water into the bucket?

Or is there really a difference between my methods?

Or am I missing a method?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to having them in the 125.

Water temps are maybe 1 degree off, but that's because the 2 I have in my 20 are pieces of crap. The tanks been running with water and bacteria supplement for about 6 weeks. In that time I had the water at 88 just to be safe. But I brought it back down yesterday.

Ok, so go catch the fish and place them in the 125....simple as that.

That's how I always move my fish, but if you want to play it super safe, you can catch them, place them in a bucket, then add water from the 125 into the bucket.

Alright sounds good. I'll do that for maybe 20 minutes then scoop them in the big tank. Then after I'm going to start planting my 20 gallon.
