WHO HAS RECENTLY PURCHASED A WILD-TEM FROM THE SHARK AQUARIUM

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yor not going to believe this, but i made a trip to the Shark Aquarium today and mentioned to the staff that the Tem's i purchased, were spitting out the Hikari pellets, and were starting to look two skinny, so they said that the entire Tem tank has been hitting on Hikari Food Sticks, so they gave me a handfull, and went i got home, i threw some in the tank, and they ate them until there bellies were going to burst............THANK YOU JESUS......NO LIVE FOOD NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS I also ended up purchasing another WC Tem:nilly:

Make sure you purchase the small sticks, not the JUMBO's, and yes, i cut them up in threes.

hmmm interesting because on their web site all i seen were the carni sticks.

My kelberi eats 16 sticks a meal. He loves them. He tried krill yesturday and just spit it.

BTW- I made sure the kelberi ate these sticks before i made the purchase.

SA still have 5 of the 4.5 inch kelberi left and they all look healthy and all hammar these hikari sticks.

I also purchased a 4 inch kelb from SA, and he hammers Hikari Bio-Gold pellets like there going out of style..................

I have two of their Tem, and they eat pretty much anything, brine shrimp, blood worms, minnows, i have not tried pellets yet, as I am trying to power feed with minnows and blood worms three times a day.
I also agree with bridgefisher, having a pack of them work better for eating other foods. It's almost as if they realize that if they don't eat before everyone else, all the food will be gone. My Tem were the smallest of the 8 bass I have (2 mono's, 2ocell, 2 Orinis, 2 tems) and they seems to be shy the first couple of days, but now they are about the same sizes and usually the Tems are first to start eating..
