Thanks guys. I have a EBJD male that I was hoping to pair her off with someday and see if she is actually a BGJD. I had only read how to sex JDs but she was so small when I got her I wasn't sure. She used to be very black but has begun to lighten up.

Nah, its the spangles on the face that make it female. The males have them everywhere BUT the face.

shes about 6" long right now and im not sure ifshes blue gene. prolly not i bought her from petsmart
