Looks great man. Ive always liked just having a light in the middle and darker on the ends. Gives fish a place to get out of the light if they wish.

Thanks David, I prefer it as well. This pic shows how dark the sides really are, 36" lights on a 96" tank give off an awesome effect IMO. This tank is in my garage so you should see the looks I get from passers by trying to figure it all out lol.

Thanks Dave! Yeah you guessed it, they are 3 large silk spiders plants broken up and spread around the tank. I can't do live in this tank for obvious reasons. The are zip tied to the returns from the FX5's to hide them. The silks moves in the flow like real plants would too.

Cool. I was going to ask you how it was holding up fully submerged... and with cichlids. It looks good. Couldn't even tell they were fake. The lighting effect works well on that tank, too.

Thanks again. I would highly recommend it if you get the chance. Just make sure you do a long hot soak to leach out ink. This stuff grows algae well too to it just gets more natural looking over time.

JK that looks amazing!. i like those plants ALOT too what kind are they, im assuming they are fake. (silk?) ill have to post up a full tank shot of my new pair in their 240. i havent gottan a full tank shot with them in it yet!
