Normally I would be glad to help as much as I could, but since I'm 20 and understand the mind set he has. I'm still not going to help. You should set the tank and stuff to the side and spend a good month or two on research befor doing anything. Would you kill a dog just because he cant fit through the doggy door or kill a cat because he scratched up his cat scratchier, no you wouldnt, so dont treat fish like that just because they are something YOU cant handle...

Dude at 20 you're an adult, whether you act like it or not. Age is not an excuse for being a sociopath. ;) I'm not being entirely serious, but there seems to be something deeply wrong with you if you raise a pet and can then just kill it without remorse...

Other then the whole killing it if it gets to big. ( which is better then releasing it to the wild or forceing it to live in cramped quarters until it succumbs to it's poor habitate) There are ALOT of fish available to you that would fit your criteria... as Crash suggested.. I would take your time researching information, and talking to local LFS on whats available to you... the sub-forums are riddled with helpful information/people in specific aspects of husbandry. I don't know much about wolf fish in general but iir there is a smaller wolf species that can also cohabitate with other aggressive preditory fish. believe the common name is the rainbow wolf but don't quote me on that as I'm not much of a wolf fish person myself.

I'm somewhat surprized people are jumping all over because instead of just saying you'll dump it somewhere.. your at least thinking about the animal long-term. Which is more then alot do. and I really don't reccomend considering eating it as alot of the foods used ot feed our pets are not considered safe to then ingest our-selves. particulalry if certain meds are used.

You really do have alot of oddball options out there that will happily live in a 100 gallon for life. I would suggest starting with the " End all Mini Monster" thread. It can give you some good ideas where to start.

Yeah I know im an adult, but I do understand the mindset of OMGZ MONSTER FEESH LETS FEED IT OTHER FEESH TO WATCH THEM FIGHT OMGZZ. But thats it, i used to be like that then i just never found it to be attractive.

there is alot of predator/aggressive fish out there that will not outgrow the tank, flowerhorn, puffer fish to name a few even oscar (bad thing with oscar is they r schooling hence need to keep atleast a pair) to name a few..
Like other suggested research some more for the perfect resident for ur dream setup.
I will not preach u on killing ur fish if its got out of ur hand..its part human natures to keep animals or kill them when they find it nessecary and its whole another topic

Wow seems like I touched a real sensitive spot didn't mean to do that but i was just being honest. Anyways I'm sure many of you would b glad to know that I am no longer doing a fresh water tank but a salt water tank. Doing some research so I dont get preached on but will be back later to let every1 knows how it goes. Btw I'm thinking of a reef setup with a lionfish, dwarf sting ray, and mayb a bamboo shark, I didn't do much research on weather or not they r all compatble together or how big they will get. As of right now all I no for sure is that I'm going salt water reef. Hit me back if any 1 has any info I can use

I can pretty much tell you that no shark can live in a 100G for life thats for sure, since just before i got my 200G i was thinking of a shark too, except i don't have a big enough tank for one...

Lion fish i'm guessing should be okay? although me not being a S/W keeper i have no idea...

Either way, with enough research and asking the right questions you should end up with a pretty nice tank regardless if you go S/W or F/W... just gotta remember when it comes to fish, patience is a virtue... especially when setting up...

I think 1 lion fish will work but you are limited to what else you put in with as in corals and rocks...

100 gallons is not very large for salt. Not big enough for any shark.

You're probably going to need to add an additional filter as well, especially as a salt setup. My advice would be to research the fish that interest you and take it from there. That in itself will help you figure out what you need to add to the system and wether you have the space to house them in the first place.
Salt isn't hard at all, but it demands more space per species kept and is far less forgiving.

Either way good luck and please dont eat your pets lol !
